“I was told that in Europe you find money everywhere, even in the streets. A place where you can find money easily and can build your future.” Mustafa was seduced by all the fantastic stories and decided to take the smuggling route to Europe through Libya.

“When I heard people saying they’d go back again and look for a smuggler, that’s when I remembered I’d lost my sister on that road. I thought, if you go back you might die there like your sister and your mum will lose you too.” Abdisamad was rescued at sea and taken back to Libya.
