Short drama on COVID-19 by Volunteers in Somalia
TRS volunteers produced a short drama to address misinformation/disinformation about COVID-19.
We are grateful to our refugee volunteers who play a critical role in helping refugees and delivering essential, even life-saving information, to refugees in their communities.
Telling the Real Story Refugee Outreach Volunteers (ROVs) and returnee groups have continued to play a key role scale up outreach activities, participating in protection monitoring activities, and channeling community concerns regarding key gaps, needs, risks and emerging issues within the operations in a timely fashion.
The engagement of ROVs has Enhanced communities’ awareness on assistance and protection services available within the operations, greatly improving the uptake of services and assistance seeking behaviour amongst refugees and asylum seekers within the operation.
