Ifrah Ahmed has been nominated as a UNHCR High Profile Supporter who will additionally be engaged in the Telling the Real Story project.
Ifrah, having escaped traffickers herself at a young age of 17, and as a refugee is very passionate about raising awareness about the dangers of irregular migration. She also advocates tirelessly for banning FGM and succeeded in getting a legislation banning the practice in Ireland in 2012.
